As the first multimedia master’s program in the nation, we
are leading the way in training future multimedia producers and
artists.
The Multimedia Masters is a uniquely
designed interdisciplinary degree, drawing on elements from a number
of fields, including art, computer science, telecommunications,
education, and business.
The Multimedia Graduate Program mirrors
real-world conditions by emphasizing teamwork and production-oriented
goals. You learn the skills needed to adapt quickly to new
environments, a valuable asset for any profession. Because multimedia
is a rapidly-developing and rapidly-changing field, we focus as
much on the enduring creative processes as on the transient technology.
Organized as a two year plan, the master’s
program follows a well-rounded course. During the first year, you
will develop a theoretical foundation in multimedia, enhance your
technical skills, and learn how to work effectively in teams. During
the second year, you will join a group of four to five students
from various backgrounds and talents to create a multimedia product.
